on Saturday, 21.09.2024 at 7 pm the exhibition "Parad "eyes" Fractal Odyssey" opens at the A.K.T; again after the summer break with performances by Firat Yildiz and Nicolas Faubert:

7 pm, Inselsteg (Theatre Street): Living in Liminality Bleach Performance by Firat Yildiz

The project deals with the state of "being in-between" of individuals or groups who experience no clear affiliation to certain cultural, social or geographical areas. This leads to a feeling of dissolution or transformation of identity, which is symbolised by the bleaching of a carpet in a 40-minute performance accompanied by music.

9 pm, A.K.T; performance by Nicolas Faubert and guests

Following the performance by Firat Yildiz, the artist and curator of the exhibition, Nicolas Faubert, together with other artists, will accompany visitors into the exhibition with a performance.

"Parad "eyes" Fractal odyssey" is an epic journey through a universe of transdisciplinary works.
The artist Nicolas Faubert explores the phenomenon of fractals both in his dance practice and through visual media. He discovers these constantly repeating patterns in nature, in the movements of animals, but also in human actions. Influenced by his experiences with a visual impairment of over 80%, he invites together with the artists Gabriel Moraes Aquino, Mona Young-eun Kim, Robert Holland, Yun Theyoung, Ole Leon Blank, Farid Kati, Yulong Song and the musicians Sakeul, Ole Leon Blank and Firat Yildiz to approach the fascinating world of fractals through breakdance, visual art and modern technologies in the interactive exhibition.

The exhibition is open on the evening of the vernissage from 7pm to 10pm.
